Change Agent generates high-quality drafts of thank-you letters to supporters who have contributed to your organization. The key is to interact with Change Agent as if it were a very talented communications assistant who just started at your company. The more specific you can be while prompting Change Agent the better. Try uploading relevant documents and webpages to inform content, tone, and format. Need ideas to get you started? Input your needs and ask Change Agent to provide you with three concepts for thank you messages.
Upload relevant documents, links, and examples
Change Agent will generate its outputs based on your upload.
To load a webpage, press `#` and paste your link.
To load a document, press `+` and upload your documents.
Define your content goals
Tell Change Agent what type of thank-you letter it’s going to create and for whom. Include the goal of the letter and who the audience will be—like donors, volunteers, or members. If you’ve uploaded any documents or webpages, instruct Change Agent to use them to inform content, style, and/or format. Then, prompt Change Agent to generate letter copy.
Sample prompt:
Write a heartfelt thank-you email to a donor who has contributed $[amount] to [Organization], a [501(c)3/501(c)4] organization dedicated [mission]. The email should be written in the style and structure of the three provided samples (Example Thank You One, Example Thank You Two, and Example Thank You Three).
Generate alternative versions
Change Agent can provide you alternative copy. Generating multiple results is useful whether for A/B testing or just to find a favorite output from Change Agent. Either prompt Change Agent to provide another example with slightly different tone, format, or content, or keep all of the details the same and simply regenerate by pressing the regenerate button (⥁) immediately below the output.
Sample prompt:
Rewrite the thank you message to emphasize [alternative topic or frame] using an [alternative adjective] tone.
Generate ideas for content
Change Agent can generate ideas for your content at the beginning of your process. Tell Change Agent what you’re looking to accomplish, and it can provide suggestions that you can then ask it to execute. This is a great place to upload relevant materials.
Sample prompt:
Give me three ideas for a thank-you letter to [audience] that accomplishes [goal] with regard to [topic]. Base your ideas on the uploaded document.
Help Change Agent help you
Not getting exactly what you’re looking for? Tell Change Agent to ask you what information would help it refine its output.
Sample prompt:
You will draft a thank-you letter to achieve [goal] for [organization]. Ask me guiding questions that will get the best result, including key talking points, target audience demographics/interests, relevant data, existing context or resources, letter tone, and length.
