Web scraping allows you to extract information on a website and use it as context within your Change Agent chat. This is useful for pulling information from websites and drawing on it for tasks with Change Agent. You can also use Change Agent to organize plain text from meetings, chats, and reports into a grid.
Step 1: Highlight Relevant Information from a Website
To organize information from a website, start by selecting all the content. No need to be precise, Change Agent can filter just what you need. You can type control or command + A. the relevant information on the webpage.
Step 2: Copy the Highlighted Information
Once you've highlighted the information, copy it. This will allow you to paste it into Change Agent for further processing.
Step 3: Input Instructions into Change Agent
Before pasting the copied information, provide instructions to Change Agent on how you want the data to be formatted. For example, you can specify that you want the information to be turned into a table with columns for first name, last name, and email.
Step 4: Paste the Copied Information into Change Agent
Paste the copied information into Change Agent. It helps to include pasted in info enclosed in quotation marks.
Step 5: Process the Information
Press the "Send Message" button to initiate the processing of the information. Change Agent will then filter through the data and generate the desired output, such as a table.
Step 6: Review and Utilize the Output
Review the generated output, which in this case is a table containing the staff information. You can then copy and paste this information into a spreadsheet or upload it to your CRM of choice.
