Change Agent now lets you instantly summarize long YouTube videos — no more watching hours of footage to extract key points. Whether you’re reviewing public meetings, campaign ads, or educational content, this tool saves time and surfaces the most important themes, positions, and speaker breakdowns — all within the platform.
Step 1: Select the YouTube Transcription Tool
On your Change Agent home screen, look for the “+” button (located just under where it says "How can I help you today?"). Click it to open the tool menu. From the list, select “YouTube Transcription.” The toggle next to it will turn green, indicating the tool is active. You will now see wrench icon with a number 1 next to the + button.
Step 2: Paste the YouTube Video URL
In the window, paste the full URL of the YouTube video you want to summarize. Make sure it’s a public video
Step 3: Enter Your Summary Prompt
Below the URL field, type your specific request. For example:
- “Summarize the topics discussed in the Board of Ed meeting”
Step 4: Submit and Wait for Results
Click the “Send Message” up arrow icon. Change Agent will begin processing the video. You’ll see the youtube tool listed, letting you know the tool is pulling the transcript and analyzing the content.
Step 5: Review Your Summary
Within seconds to minutes (depending on video length), you’ll receive a clean, structured summary.
