With Channels, you can message your teammates back and forth, and even @mention an app to bring AI insights directly into those conversations. This eliminates the need to switch between multiple tools or platforms. Now, you can collaborate with your team and leverage AI assistance all in one place.
Step 1: Access Channels
On the left-hand side of your Change Agent screen, you'll see the Channels section. You can expand this area by clicking on the carrot/arrow icon.
Step 2: Create a New Channel
To create a new channel, click on the plus button. You'll then be prompted to select your group. In this example, we've created and saved the "Octopi" group for our beach cleanup campaign team.
Step 3: Start Chatting with Your Team
Once your channel is created, you can begin messaging your teammates. You'll see all team members who are part of the channel, and you can communicate back and forth just like any messaging platform.
Step 4: @Mention an App for AI Insights
To bring AI into your conversation, use the @ symbol followed by the app name. For example, you can @mention your "Save the Octopi" app and ask it to draft a fundraising email for your upcoming beach cleanup. The AI will respond directly within the channel thread.
Step 5: Co-Prompt with Your Team
You and your colleagues can work together by co-prompting with Change Agent. For instance, after the AI drafts an initial fundraising appeal, you can ask a teammate to write two more variations. Both of you can see the AI responses and collaborate on refining the content in real time.
Step 6: Review the Thread
All conversations, including AI-generated content and teammate responses, are saved in the channel thread. This creates a searchable record of your team's collaboration and decision-making process.
